Pacific Square San Gabriel was approved by City Council.

The San Gabriel City Planning Commission unanimously approved the project and advanced it to the full City Council for approval.

Based on feedback provided from the February DRC, the project designs were updated and presented again as a preview to the DRC to make sure the designs reflect their insights.

A project preview was presented at the City of San Gabriel’s Design Review Commission (DRC).

The Draft Environmental Impact Report public comment period closed and staff began working on finalizing responses to comments that will be presented to the Planning Commission and City Council in a Final EIR — the final step before scheduling hearings for approval.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report was released for public review and comment.

A project status update and preview was presented to the Historic Preservation and Cultural Resources Commission, highlighting the design elements to celebrate the site’s contributions to the region’s history, including a tribute grove honoring the founding family of the San Gabriel Nursery.

With stay-at-home orders in place, a project update and virtual site visit was hosted for community members, reflecting input from the previous community workshops.

A fourth in-person, interactive  community workshop was held to provide a status update and solicit additional feedback on the various elements of the project’s design, retail mix, and relationship to the community.
